Albert "Pop" R Cherbuck, age 70, of Villas passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at his home. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of the Feltonville section of that city, he has been a Cape May area resident for 10 years. He was a 1957 graduate of Northeast Catholic High School in Philadelphia. Albert served his country in the National Guard in the early 1960's. He was a retired technician for Sears, and was an avid union supporting man. Albert was a strong family man and a father figure to many. He is survived by: his wife of 50 years Marie Cherbuck of Villas; his daughter Eileen Kreis of Villas; his daughter Marie (James) Brown of Villas; and his sister Patricia Wisner of Warminster, PA. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Eileen Bechtler, Jimmy Brown, Jason Brown, Joseph McCorriston, Nicole Brown, & Billy Kreis; his great grandchildren: Herman (5th), Joey, Brett, & Gemma; and Harry his rabbit. Services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. The family suggests donations in Albert's memory to the NJ Rabbit Rescue at
