Irene M Ferguson, age 80, of Cape May passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she has been a life long resident of Cape May. Irene was an administrator with Holy Redeemer Health Care of Swainton, NJ. She was a member of the Church of the Advent in Cape May and a member of the Daughters of the King in that church. Irene is survived by: her son Charles H Johnson of N Wildwood; her daughter Kathleen Harville of Oakview, CA; three grandchildren: Nicolus, Nichole, & Bryan; and two great grandchildren: Austin & Cody. Also surviving is her cousin Shirley Steinmetz. The family suggests donations in Irene's memory to the Respiratory Department of Cape Regional Medical Center, 2 Stone Harbor Blvd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. Funeral services will be at the Evoy Funeral Home , 3218 Bayshore Road, N. Cape May, NJ 08204 onThursday March 3, 2011 at 3 pm. Friends may call from 2 to 3pm.
