Philip J Starzmann, age 78, of Green Creek passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of that city, he has been a Cape May area resident since 1988. Philip worked for RCA in several New Jersey locations for 40 years. He was a member of the Church of the Advent in Cape May, and was a member of the Frankford Masonic Lodge #292 F&AM. Philip was preceded in death by his wife Anna in 1997 and his brother Jack in 2002. He is survived by his daughter Joanne (Dale) Morrison of Green Creek; two grandchildren: Dale Morrison Jr. & Alyssa Morrison of Green Creek; his brother Raymond Starzmann of Kansas City, MO; and his companion Drein McKernan. There will be a viewing on Friday, February 11, 2011 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204. Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon on Friday, February 11, 2011 at the Church of the Advent, Washington & Franklin Sts., Cape May, NJ 08204. The family suggests contributions in Philip's memory to the American Cancer Society, 626 North Shore Road, Absecon, NJ 08201.
