McPherson Edward B. "Buck", age 74 of Cape May Court House passed away Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Cape Reg. Medical Center. He was born in Cold Spring and was a lifelong Cape May County area resident. He was a truck driver for many years for Snows Canning Co. He also drove for Lower Bus Co., Middle Twp. Schools and Cardinal Trucking. He also later worked as a maintenance man for Stagecoach Campground, Baycove Resort and as a yardman for Lumber 47 in Green Creek. Edward also enjoyed gardening especially growing lima beans and he also enjoyed watching baseball. Edward is survived by his wife, Bonnie (nee Hinch) and his three children; William (Sylvia) McPherson, Kathy Woods and Tamara (Glenn) Phoebus; his siblings, Richard (Sandi) McPherson, Verna Shifflett, Frank (Georgi) McPherson and Sheila McPherson. He is also survived by his former wife Alberta McPherson. He also leaves five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Edgar and Verna McPherson and brother Robert. As per Edward's wishes , there will be no funeral services at this time.. Donations in his memory to the ASPCA in Green Creek or Animal Alliance at Crest Haven or to an animal facility of the donors choice.
