Cessna, age 81 of Town Bank passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at her home. She was born in Philadelphia and resided in Roxborough, PA before moving to the Cape May area where she had summered for many years and became a permanent resident in 1990. She was a graduate of St. John the Baptist Girls High School in Manaunk. She was a member of St. John Neumann Parish at St. John Church in North Cape May where she. enjoyed playing Bingo. She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years Charles Cessna; two sons, Charles (Vera), Roxborough, PA and Maurice of Town Bank; two dauaghters, Alice (Frank) Porrini of Andora, Pa and Karen Baeringer of Villas; two sisters Barbara Peters of Philadelphia and Sally (Joe) Swift of Tucson, AZ; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.. Edna was preceded in death by sons David (1996) and Robert (1975); a grandson Charles and two brothers Bill and Joe Moore. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 am Friday, January 28, 2011 at St. John Neumann Parish at St. John of God Church, 680 Townbank Road, North Cape May where friends may call from 10-11am. Interment will be private. Contributions in her memory may be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1850 Route 9, Swainton, NJ 08210
