Patricia Ann Altimairo, age 65, of Cape May passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at her home. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of the Fishtown Section of that city, she has been a Cape May area resident since 1989. Patricia was a retired Pharmacy Technician for Acme Markets in North Cape May with over 31 years of service. She was the beloved wife of Jack Altimairo; devoted mother of Sharon Altimairo, Nicole Altimairo, & Jennifer (Dan) Wagner. She was also the adoring grandmother of Gregory, David, & Alyssa. Patricia is also survived by: her brother William (Betty) Palmer; brother Warren Palmer; sister Anna May (Tom) Neary; many nieces, nephews, and friends. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ; and from 12:30 to 1:30 PM on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Our Lady Star of the Sea RC Church, Washington Street Mall, Cape May, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 1:30 PM. The family suggests donations in Patricia's memory to the Love of Linda Cancer Fund, PO Box 1053, Wildwood, NJ 08260.
