Eleanor Jeanne Schultz, age 87, of Erma passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City; after a brief stay at the North Cape Center in North Cape May. Born in Altoona, PA and formerly of Newark, NJ; she has been a Cape May area resident since 1980. Eleanor was a teacher's aide retiring with over 20 years of service for the Newark, NJ school system; and was a member of the Lower Township Senior Center. She was the daughter of the late Chester C & Mary McMinn. Eleanor is survived by her son Douglas (Joan) Schultz of Erma, NJ; her sister-in-law Frances "Dolly" McMinn; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Amos D Schultz in 1995 and her brother Richard McMinn. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at Cold Spring Cemetery, 780 Seashore Rd, Cold Spring, NJ.
