Elizabeth Flounders, age 77, of Erma passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at her home.
Born in Philadelphia and formerly of North East Philadelphia, she has been a Cape May area resident since 1987. Elizabeth worked for the Keebler Baking Company of Philadelphia for 30 years and for the Lower Township School District for 10 years. She was a member of the Rio Grande Bible Baptist Church. Elizabeth is survived by: a daughter Deborah (William) Adams of Erma; a son Gary (Debbie) Kessler of Millville; 4 grandchildren: Jennifer, Gary, Shannon, Emily; 1 great grandchild Riley; a brother William (Joan) Todd of Pocono Lake, PA; and a sister Lydia McLean of DE. She was preceded in death by her husband William Flounders in 2007. There will be a graveside service at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ. The family suggests donations in Elizabeth's memory to the Holy Redeemer Hospice 1801 Rt. 9 Swainton, NJ. 08210.
