Emily C Meehan, age 81, of Cold Spring passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at her home. Born in Chester County, PA; she has been a Cape May area resident for 30 years. Emily was a seamstress and worked for Pipe Welders of Cape May making boat canvases for 10 years. She enjoyed painting, especially oil painting. Emily is survived by her son Bernard Meehan of Cold Spring, NJ; daughter Sandie Caulder of Folcroft, PA; and daughter Nancy Walker of New Monroe, MO. Also surviving are: her brother Harry Swartz of CA; 5 grandchildren: Paula, Daniel, Bernard Jr., Glenn, & Christopher; and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
