Arthur P. Molnar Jr., age 72 , of Rio Grande passed away on Friday, December 17, 2010 at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Braddock, PA and formerly of Duquesne, PA before moving to the Cape May area in 1966. Arthur honorably served in the U.S. Coast Guard for over 22 years and attained the rank of Sr. Chief Petty Officer [E-8]. After retiring from the Coast Guard he worked for Cape May Co. Services and Facilities Department involved in HV-AC. He also had worked as a teacher at the Cape May Co. Vo-Tech for 5 years. Arthur was a Past Govenor of the Moose Lodge # 585 in North Wildwood and also a member of the Moose Legion # 65. He is preceded in death by his parents Marie and Arthur Molnar, sister Evelyn booth, mother in-law and father in-law, Charles and Mildred Kiesel and brother in-law, Dennis Horvat. He is survived by Barbara (nee Kiesel) his wife of 48 years ; two daughters, Holly (Val) Kushnirsky of Erma and Una (Jim Boyle) Molnar of Villas; 3 grandchildren, Anthony and Nicholas Merchel and Ross Williams; a brother, Ronald(Colete) Molnar of Vernon CT,; 3 sisters, Eileen(Bill) Robertson of Evans GA, Janice (Patrick) Shanley of Duquesne, PA and Linda Horvat of Cape May Court House; two sister in-laws; Shirley (Bob) Hoffnagle and Una (Ken) Zink. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2010from 6-9 pm at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May followed by a service at 9 pm. Burial will be private at the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery.
