Obituary of Michael Zadarla

OBITUARY Michael "Mike" Zadarla, 84, of North Cape May passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at North Cape Center. Born in Conemaugh, PA; he has been a Cape May area resident since 1973. Mike served his country in the US Navy during World War II. He then enlisted in the US Coast Guard, serving for 20 years, including the Korean War and Vietnam. Mike worked for the Cape May County MUA, was a member of St John of God RC Church, a member of the VFW Peterson-Little Post in Cape May, the Cape May American Legion, and enjoyed golfing and being outdoors. He is survived by his wife Annabella and daughter Theresa Zadarla. Also surviving are his sisters: Irene Hoehing, Helen Krisko, & Ann Dyak, and many nieces & nephews. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 27, 2012 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. The family suggests donations in Mike's memory to a charity of the donor's choice.
