Obituary of Catherine M Williams

Catherine Mary Williams, age 94, of North Cape May passed away on Friday, November 26, 2010 at the Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Mansfield, OH and formerly of Pensacola, FL; she has been a Cape May area resident since 1989 Catherine served her country in the US Navy Waves as a chief hospital corpsman during World War II, and was a medical secretary for 30 years at Medical Center Clinic of Pensacola, FL. She was a member of the Parish of St John Neumann at St John of God RC Church; Legion of Mary; Christ Child Society; Altar & Rosary Society; VFW Post 3725; and the Ocean Side Club of Cape May. Catherine is survived by her Daughter Kathleen (Peter) Tourison of North Cape May; stepson Trenton (Dorothy) Williams of Pensacola, FL; stepson Rodney Williams of Jacksonville, FL; and stepdaughter Mary Annette (Don) Miller of Foley, AL. Also surviving are her brother Richard L Pfeifer of Mansfield, OH; 2 grandchildren Jennifer & Jamey Tourison; 4 great grandsons; and one great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her first husband Fred Lipham ; her second husband Roderick Williams; her brothers Father William Pfeifer; Robert Pfeifer; and Frederick Pfeifer. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at St John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May; where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven RD, Cape May Court House.
