Renee Procknow, age 78, of North Cape May passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Crest Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of that city, she has been a Cape May area resident since 1992. Renee was a waitress at the Union League and the Federal Reserve Bank in Philadelphia for many years. She was a member of the Cape May Lutheran Church; the Women's Club of Cape May; the Cape May Garden Club; and the Red Hat Club. Renee is survived by her husband of 58 years William; sons: William (Sue) of Orlando, FL; Paul (Judy) of Havertown, PA; Robert (Kathleen) of Philadelphia, PA; Mark (Kelly) of Havertown, PA; and Timothy of North Cape May. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren. There will be a funeral services at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at the Cape May Lutheran Church, 509 Pittsburgh Ave, Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd, CMCH. The family suggests contributions in Renee's memory to the church's building fund.
