Obituary of Colette Jones

OBITUARY Colette Jones, 52, of Cape May passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at her home. Born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in North Wildwood; she has been a Cape May area resident for 47 years. Colette was a graduate of Wildwood High School and a member of the Norte Dame De LaMer Parish in Wildwood. She was the manager of the Blue Pig Tavern at Congress Hall in Cape May, worked at the Ugly Mug for 20 years, and at Uries Restaurant in Wildwood. Colette is survived by her husband of 34 years Rick Jones; her daughter Kristina (Michael) Foltz of Myrtle Beach, SC; her son James Jones of New York City, NY; and her son Ryan Jones of West Chester, PA. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren: Michael Jr. & Mason; her sisters: Denise Grier of Rio Grande & Helene Grier of North Wildwood; her nephew William J (Elena) Grier; 2 great nieces: Kate & Alex; her mother-in-law Laura D Jones of Rio Grande; and many cousins & adopted family. She was preceded in death by her parents William & Theresa Grier and her father-in-law Huston J Jones. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at the Notre Dame De LaMer Parish, Church of the Assumption, 7710 Seaview Ave, Wildwood Crest, NJ 08260; where friends and family will be received from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St Mary's Cemetery, Cold Spring, NJ 08204.
