Anthony Fachado, 44, of Del Haven died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 28, 2010 following a brief illness at Cooper Medical Center in Camden. Born at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City, NY on February 27, 1966, he has been a resident of South Jersey since 1989. Anthony graduated from Vestal High School in 1985; and from Cumberland County College with an AS Degree in Computer Science. He was an avid bowler at Wildwood Bowling Alley, was a Boston Celtics fan, and was an active member with the youth group at Grace Gospel Chapel. Anthony was employed at Home Depot as a sales associate, and loved Home Depot's FOCUS Workshops teaching basic woodworking skills to children with his friend Anna. He will be greatly missed by his parents: Manuel & Janice Fachado; his brother Manuel Jr.& sister-in-law Diane (Sis); and his girlfriend Anna Early. Also surviving are: his uncle Gerald Breon of Bradenton, FL; 3 aunts: Joyce (Charles) Havens of Tucson, AZ; Jean (Wallace) Keefer of New Berlin, PA; & Judy (Craig) May of Lewisburg, PA; cousins: Wallace & Scott Keefer; Kim Acy; Debra Toomey; Melissa Emerick; and Kelly Owens all of PA. He was preceded in death by his cousins Michael Breon & Cathy West; grandmothers Marie Fachado & Gladys King; and aunt Jo (Joann) Breon. There will be a funeral service at 4:00 PM on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Grace Gospel Chapel, 3802 Route 9, Rio Grande, NJ; where friends may call from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. The family suggests donations in Anthony's memory to the Grace Gospel Chapel or to the National Epilepsy Foundation, Attn: Accounting Dept, 8301 Professional Place, Landover, MD 20785-7223.
