Please share a memory of H. to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
H. Donald Brown, 10/22/25 - 10/24/10, of North Cape May and formerly of Woodbury, NJ died of complications of Alzheimers at Crest Haven Nursing Home. He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 63 years Jean Tryon Brown; three sons: Ronnie (Kathy) Brown, Michael D. (Patti) Brown, & David (Ginger) Brown; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Cliff Brown and his parents Dr. Harvey & Mildred Brown. Don owned & operated a machine shop and plastic manufacturing company in Pitman, NJ. Most of his life he had a hobby: the love of building and flying radio-controlled model airplanes. This led to his pioneering of radio controlled military technology. He liked to go fast and drove a 280 cubic inch inboard hydroplane at Regattas throughout the East Coast and was a National Champion. Don will be remembered by all who knew him as the truest of friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Crest Haven Nursing Home for all the support and fine care they provided to Don while he was in their care. There will be a memorial service at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ. The family suggests contributions in Don's memory to the Alzheimers Association, 3 Eves Dr, Suite 310, Marlton, NJ 08053.
