Edward C. Garvin Jr. 39 of Villas passed away on Friday Ooct. 22, 2010 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia Pa. he has been a Cape May Area resident for 35 years. Ed graduated from Lower Cape May Regional High School where he was a Cape-Atlantic League football allstar He was a graduate of Wesley University where he also played football. Edward was a member of St. John Neumann Parish and a life member of the Villas Fishing Club. Surviving is his mother Josephine Garvin of Villas, three sisters Joane Marie Garvin of Rio Grande, Michele ( Lars) Olsen of Paradise Pa., Maureen (Bill) Dunn of Villas and one brother Joseph (Tina) Garvin of N. Cape May. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am on Tuesday Oct. 26, 2010 at the Parish of St. John Neumann the St, Raymond RC Church, Ocean and Bayshore Rd. Villas NJ. Where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Cold Spring Cemetery Erma, NJ. The family suggests donations in Ed's Memory to Lower Cape May Regional football scholarship fund 687 RT 9 Cape May, Att - Mike Wilson.
