Gloria V Beardsley, 88, of Villas passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at the Oceanview Rehab Center. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of West Philadelphia, she has been a Cape May area resident since1953. Gloria attended Our Mother of Sorrows School; was a telephone operator for Bell Telephone Co. of Philadelphia; and for Misericordia Hospital. She was a member of St Raymond's RC Church in Villas and was a life member of the Villas Fishing Club. Gloria is survived by her sister Teresa Guenther of FL and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Graham Beardsley in 2004. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the Parish of St John Neumann at St Raymond's RC Church, Ocean & Bayshore Rd, Villas, NJ; where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at St Mary's Cemetery, Cold Spring.
