Cathleen O. Roemhild, age 63, was taken home on the wings of angels on Sunday, October 10, 2010 with her family by her side; at the Cape Regional Medical Center. She was born in Chester, PA and formerly of Ohio; before residing in this area for the past 24 years. Cathleen was a bookkeeper most of her life and she enjoyed combing the beaches searching for treasures with her metal detector. She leaves behind her devoted husband Ronald Roemhild; her loving children: Stacey Manyak (Chris) of Villas, R.J. Roemhild (Jennifer) of Del Haven , and Kim Mehan of Centreville, VA; and a dear brother Robert O' Connor. She was the adoring grandmother of Logann, Miranda, Caleigh, Connor, Cade, and Tyler. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews and her special friend Hershey. A celebration of her life will be held 11 AM on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, N. Cape May. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10-11 AM. Inurnment will follow at the Cold Spring Cemetery, Cold Spring, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Cape May Co. Animal Shelter, 4 Moore Road, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
