Sam Hart, 89, of Cape May Court House passed away on Monday, September 27, 2010 at Court House Convalescent Center. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of Norwood, PA; he has been a Cape May area resident since 1984. Sam served as mayor and a councilman in Norwood for many years. He was the former chairman of the Republican Party there. Sam was also the Records Supervisor at the Delaware County Prison retiring in 1983. He was a member of the St Raymonds RC Church, the VFW, and the Villas Fishing Club. Sam is survived by his son Thomas (Joan) Hart of Glenolden, PA and one grandson Mike Hart of Glenolden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 1, 2010 at St John Neumann Parish, at St Raymonds RC Church, Ocean & Bayshore Rd, Villas, NJ; where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. The family suggests contributions in Sam's memory to the Deborah Hospital Foundation, PO Box 820, Browns Mills, NJ 08015.
