Hazel L Draben, 84, of North Wildwood passed this life peacefully on Sunday, September 5, 2010 with her daughter by her side. Born the 8th of 9 children to Edna & Charles Denison in Vermillion, SD; she moved to Chicago after World War II. During the war she was a teletype operator at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City. Hazel has been a North Wildwood area resident for the past 20 years. She is a descendant of John & Priscilla Alden. Hazel is survived by her daughter & son-in-law Debbie & Scott Glenn; and the light of her life, her grandson Julian. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. There will be a celebration of her life at 12 noon on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Atlantic & Poplar Aves, Wildwood, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Hazel's memory may be made to the Julian Glenn College Fund, c/o Jack & Wanda Glenn, 123 E 2nd Ave, North Wildwood, NJ 08260.
