Eugene "Bugsy" S Moran Sr, 59, of North Cape May died suddenly as a result of an auto accident in Florida on Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Born in Philadelphia, he has been a Cape May area resident for 10 years. Eugene was a driver & maintenance worker with SEPTA for 30 years. He served his country in the US Army in Vietnam; was a member of the American Legion Post #184 of Wildwood; VFW #386 of Cape May; DAV Chapter 44 of Del Haven; and was involved with the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial at Cape May County Airport. Eugene is survived by his wife of 37 years Patricia (nee Hartman) Moran of North Cape May; his son Eugene S Jr.(Jennifer) Moran of Greenville, PA; son Geoffrey M Moran of Philadelphia; and 2 grandchildren: Patrick & Declan. Also surviving are brothers: Steve Moran & Jimmy Moran; and sisters: Dolores Morgan & Geri Sola; all of Florida. Friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May. Services begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery.
