Rick was a great friend of mine. I first met Rick in 1962 while working at Garden State Motors in Pennsauken, NJ. Rick left that job and went to John R. Evans Co. , a leather tanning company in Camden, NJ. He put in a good word for me, and I got hired to work with him on Industrial maintenance equipment. After a few years, Rick went to work with Rundels Corporations. They made bathroom tubs and fixtures. Rick insisted I join him there. While working at Rundels, on a particular Sat. afternoon, he scared me when his knee went out of joint. I would not pull his knee back in place, so I put him on a hand truck, rolled him to my car and drove him to Cooper Hospital Emergency. The doctor pulled his knee back in place and Rick was told he needed to have surgery on that knee. Rick later went to work at Mobile Refinery and I went to work for the Collingswood Public School system in the maintenance department.
Throughout almost 50 years we kept in touch. Fran and Rick visited us in Clearwater, FL twice, the last being October 3, 2003 and promised to come back soon, but the business needed him and he promised to come for a visit soon. My wife Valerie and I just recently visited with Rick and Fran in Cape May.....July 6, 2010, in fact. We had a great visit with laughs, dinner and photo op.
Rick – what can I say....only that to know you is to love you. You had a heart of gold and you were a good friend to me. In fact, our wives have the same birthday...December 30. Thanks for your friendship and you will be missed, partner.

Dear Mrs. Stronski and family, I just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about Rick's passing. We have worked together on several occasions over the last few years and Rick was a godsend more than once.I knew him mostly on a business level but he always seemed to be a thoroughly decent, dependable man with a sense of humor and a good story or two.I regret that I didn't know him better. Please accept my condolences for your loss.

Pop, as I sit here and reflect upon all the memories I have of you, all I can do is smile. In my mind and in my heart, I will carry the joy, laughter, and love you generously provided me, using it as a source of motivation to make the most of my time left here on Earth. I hope you have found your peace and serenity in the presence of God, and I look forward to the day when we shall meet again. In the mean time, I promise you that I will take care of grandmom and always give you a reason to be proud as you watch me grow from above. You are the greatest grandfather a grandson could ever ask for, and I love you with all of my heart and soul.

Fran, I am truly sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of Mr. S. One in particular was when he played his accordian along with me, I think I was in third grade. He busted out "Roll out the Barrell". He will be missed. My prayers and most sincere condolences are with you.

Our deepest sympathy to the Stronski family on your lost.
When we heard the news of Rich's passing we were all shocked and those of us that had the pleasure of working with him started telling personal stories of our time with Rich.
He made all of us laugh and he will truly be remembered because he did touch all of our hearts at Mobil Research.
God Bless

Fran,
Carol and I hope you only remember the good times and laughs we always had together.
Rich always had a good sense of humor that he let everyone see, but he also had a big heart that he tried to not let us know about most of the time.
Love,
Rich & Carol

Well Pop, all I can say is that I miss you so badly and so does the rest of your family and friends. While this all was so unexpected and happened so fast I can only hope that your mind and body are in peace. You were like a father to me and our relationship can never be replaced. I have to say that you were a harding working man who said it how it was :). Pop, you were the comic relief in the family....we could always count on you for a good laugh. We have so many great memories as a family and that is what we will hold on to. I love you and miss you....please rest in peace.
