I had the pleasure of being Mildred's neighbor in Wildwood. Our visits together were always filled with laughter and love. She shared touching stories of her life with me. I will always remember her and cherish those times. My heartfelt condolences to her family. She was a wonderful person.

Mildred was a cherished neighbor, our friend, and a wonderful, fun-loving woman. I was fortunate I got to know her through my Mom's (Gerri Polillo) friendship with her. I always admired Mildred for her sharp mind and love of life. She taught me how to play the card game Kings in the Corner and beat me often! I would sometimes jokingly refer to her as a card shark! I remember one Halloween when Mildred was dressed as a flapper to attend a party. She showed me that folks in their 80s and older can still enjoy life to the fullest. I will also remember Mildred's love of dogs, and how she always had a constant companion by her side. Mildred would often talk about her younger days, especially how she met her husband. She would chuckle when she said she married the milkman. I know she is in heaven with her beloved husband Charlie and all of her cherished doggies. God bless you Mildred. You were a very special lady, and I will miss you very much.

Your mom was the best. I know only to well what you are now experiencing; but remember that she is definitely in a better place.
