. Her favorite spots to visit included Leaming's Run Gardens, the Cape May Point Lighthouse, Hereford Inlet, and California's Big Sur coastline. She immortalized these places and many others through the lens of a camera, which she was never without. Barbara was a prolific and well-loved blogger and used this platform to push for causes she felt deeply about; such as environmental protection, autism research, and marriage equality. She is predeceased by her husband Ralph C Petruccelli, and survived by her children: Ruth of Long Island, Joseph (Janice) of Erma, Rita of Villas, and Kathryn (Michael) Godin of Monterey, CA. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Lisa & Joseph Strohmenger of Long Island, Frank Phillips of Darien, Ct, Monica (James) Hittinger of Jackson, NJ, Isaac Godin of Monterey; and two great grandchildren James & Joseph Hittinger of Jackson. Anyone wishing to honor Barbara's memory may make a donation to the Nature Conservancy's Fund for the Gulf Coast Restoration. A memorial service at Leaming's Run will be arranged for September.
