OBITUARY
Frank G. Hampton, Jr., 72, of Villas passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he has been a long time Cape May area resident. Frank served his country in the US Navy during Vietnam and retired from the US Coast Guard after 22 years of service. He was a founding member of the Cape May County String Band, a member of the US Coast Guard Chief Petty Officers Association, and the Tuesday Morning Art Group. Frank is survived by his wife of 34 years, Anna Hampton; his children Frances (Villas, NJ), Anna (Holiday, FL), and Samantha (Clayton, NC) and his grandchildren Alexandra, Thomas, Mark, Maria, Calixte and a new grandbaby in February. Also surviving are his brothers Jack Hampton (Vineland, NJ), Tom Hampton (Phila, PA), Manny Marzzallino (Phila, PA) and sisters Pat Young (Phila, PA) and Dot Frake (Leesburg, NJ). He was preceded in death by his parents Olivia and Frank G. Hampton, Sr., and his brother Richard Hampton. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 28, 2013 at the Parish of St. John Neumann, St. Raymond's RC Church, Ocean & Bayshore Rd, Villas, NJ 08251. Friends will be received from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204. Interment will follow the service at Cape May County Veterans' Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
