Dorothy M Damiana, age 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia, she has been a Cape May area resident full time for 43 years, vacationing here during the summers since the 1930s. Dorothy is survived by her children: William Damiana of Cape May, Dennis Tolson of Woodbine, Richard Tolson of Philadelphia, and Dorothea Martin of Erma. Also surviving are her brother Clarence Griffith of Burbank, CA; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ. Friends may call from 7 to 9 PM on Tuesday and 11 to 12 noon on Wednesday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in Dorothy's memory to Good Samaritan Baptist Church, 307 Townbank Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204.
