Sophia J. Grundy, 74, of Randolph passed away at Cape Regional Hospital in Cape May Court House NJ on June 18, 2010 after an eleven year bout with lung cancer. She was born to Michael Maruzewski and Stella Petruchik Maruzewski on March 1, 1936 in Franklin NJ where she grew up. She worked for 27 years at Picatinny Arsenal, retiring in 1993. She is survived by her husband James of 53 years, three children, Dawn Rohsler and her husband Bruce of Allendale NJ, Bruce Grundy and his wife Mary Ellen of Ledgewood NJ and Lisa Trotter and her husband Norman of Sparta NJ. She is also survived a brother, John Maruzewsky of Honesdale, Pennsylvania and Mary Siebold of Wayne NJ, and seven grandchildren, Heather, Eric, Robert, Emily, Sarah, Karl and Brian. She was predeceased by brother Robert and sister Stelka Lundberg. Cremation is planned with interment to be determined. No formal services are planned.
