Joseph T Gallagher, age 83, of North Cape May passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 10, 2010. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of Upper Darby, PA; he has been a Cape May area resident for 25 years. He was a member of the "Friends of Bill Wilson" organization for 23 years. Joseph was a test department supervisor for GE of South Western Philadelphia. He served his country in the US Navy during World War II. Joseph is survived by his wife Dolores (nee Bischoff); his son; Thomas J (Cheri) Gallagher of Boalsburg, PA; his daughter Kathleen (Robert) Katz of Havertown, PA; and his son Joseph F (Barbara) Gallagher of Eldora, NJ. Also surviving is his brother Father Edward Gallagher of DE and two grandchildren: Michael & Sarah Katz. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 14, 2010 at St John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May, NJ; where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Contributions in Joseph's memory can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
