Stella Luke (Saduk), age 81, of Goshen passed away peacefully on Monday, June 7, 2010 at the Eastern Shore Nursing Home of Swainton. Born in Belleplain, NJ December 15, 1928; she was a life long Cape May area resident. She was the former owner/operator of Stellas' Place in Dias Creek for many years of dedication and superb cooking until her retirement in 2003. With her sisters: Olga, Pauline, Pearl, & Vera working by her side; she and her family shared many stories with the local patrons. Stella is survived by her brothers: Louis Saduk, Anthony (Shirley) Saduk, & Carl (Darlene) Saduk of Belleplain; sisters: Olga Clark & Vera Jargowsky of Belleplain; and brother-in-law: Howard Harris of Belleplain. She was preceded in death by: her husband James Luke; her parents: Lukian & Katherine (Kubiak) Saduk of Belleplain; her brothers: William (Helen) Saduk & Alexander Saduk of Woodbine; her sisters: Pauline (Gene) Emrick of Woodbine, Pearl Harris of Belleplain, Julie Pulaski of Philadelphia, Irene Mason of Belleplain, Anna Ludwig of Millville, Marie Galcik of Philadelphia, and Catherine Chromczak of Philadelphia. Aunt Stella will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews who shared a big part of her life. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
