Owen W. Franklin "Junior" age 52 of Vineland passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Born in Bridgeton, he was formerly of Stow Creek before moving to Vineland last year.
Junior, known for his unique kind and gentle ways, was a devoted horseman and avid outdoorsman, especially hunting. He also enjoyed attending drag racing events.
He is survived by his beloved wife Adrianne "Anne"; his parents Charles and Evelyn "Betty" Franklin.; three children, Tabitha (Brian) Krzewinski of Rising Sun, MD; Joe (Christen) Franklin of Pennsville and Craig Franklin of Salem; a step-son, Joseph-Michael Clifton of Vineland; a sister Betty Joyce Hiles of Salem and a granddaughter Jenna.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 29, 2010, 2pm at Canton Baptist Church, Lower Alloways Creek Twp. where friends may call after 1 pm. Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 626 N. Shore Road, Absecon, NJ 08201 Condolences will be received at www.evoyfuneralhome.com.
