Dorothy L Jones, age 97, of Cape May Beach passed away peacefully on Friday, May 21, 2010 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and formerly of Clearwater, FL; she has been a Cape May area resident for 12 years. Dorothy retired from the Internal Revenue Service in Philadelphia after 20 years of service. She is survived by: her niece Diane Brion (with whom she lived) and her niece Jane Henry of Warminster, PA. Also surviving are her great nieces: Linda, Sandy, Diane, Barbara, Debbie, Joyce, and Lisa; great nephews: Marty & Norman; and several great great nieces & nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband John Jones in 1977. There will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 County Line Rd, Feasterville, PA 19053. The family suggests donations in Dorothy's memory to St Jude's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
