Frederick W Bird Jr, age 79, of North Cape May passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at the North Cape Center. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of Deptford and Camden County, NJ; he has been a Cape May area resident since 2006. Frederick served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He was a security guard for years at the Cherry Hill Mall. Frederick is survived by: his daughter Sharen Ewing of Brooksville, FL; his three grandchildren; and his four sisters: Diana Dressner of Williamstown, NJ; Elizabeth Reimel of Williamstown, NJ; Marie Braun of Mineral, VA; and Lillian Herbert of Corning, CA. There will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ.
