Ernest Gevaudan "Mr. G", age 59, of North Cape May passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at the Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Braddock, PA to Ernest & Thelma Gevaudan; he was raised in North Versailles, PA and has been a Cape May area resident for 27 years. He graduated from Westinghouse Memorial High School of Wilmerding, PA in 1969. Ernest was employed as a manager for K-Mart Department Stores. He worked in several stores in PA, NY, NH, 15 years in Rio Grande, and lastly in Vineland, NJ. Ernest joined the Lower Township Rotary Club in 1990 and served as an active member and Past President of the local club. Ernest is survived by his wife Barbara; two children: Fawn & Brandon; two grandchildren: Gaven & Kailyn; and one brother: David Gevaudan. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May; where friends may call after 3:00 PM. The family suggests donations in Ernest's memory to: Lower Township Rotary Club Scholarship Fund, 638 S Seashore Rd, Cape May, NJ 08204 "or" The Dialysis Center, 1259 Route 9 South, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
