Rose Spitaletto, age 58, of Villas passed away on Monday, May 3, 2010. She was born in Ischia, Italy; was formerly of West New York, NJ; and has been a Cape May area resident since 1994. Rose worked as a crossing guard; a cashier for Dellas Store in Cape May; and most recently at the ACME Market in Cape May. She was preceded in death by her mother Lucia Piro and her sister Joann Sculco. Rose is survived by her husband Anthony; her father Bennetto Piro; her sons: Anthony with wife Margaret & Christopher; and her three grandchildren: Hannah, Genevieve, and Giancarlo. Also surviving are three sisters: Maria Mancini; Georgette Piro; twin sister Marie Petrone; and her brother Salvatore Piro. There will be a memorial service at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ; where friends may gather from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Rose's memory to St Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
