David Pope, age 63, of Wildwood passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 3, 2010 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Oroville, CA, and formerly of Atlantic County; he has been a Cape May area resident for 8 years. David served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of Wildwood; was an avid Democrat; an artist (especially painting); and photographer. He is survived by his friends: Darren, Lissette, Jose, Isabella, Damaris, Willy, and Harry. There will be a graveside service at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 10, 2010 at the Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ.
