Obituary of James Leonard Fisher

James L Fisher of Lower Twp. and Chincoteaque, VA.; passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at North Cape Center Nursing Home. Born in Camden, NJ, he was the son of the late Harry & Margaret Fisher; and has lived in this area for over 40 years. Mr. Fisher was a retired inspector of 28 years with the division of motor vehicles in Cape May County. He was a past master with the Herford Masonic Lodge 177 of Wildwood Crest; past Patron of O.E.S. Chapter 118 of Wildwood; and a member of Cape Island Masonic Lodge 30 of Cape May. James is survived by his wife of 45 years Carole Kern Fisher; one daughter Dawn (Jimmy) Dunne of Villas; and one son David (Stephanie) Fisher of Cape May. Also surviving are 3 brothers: Harry Fisher of Bordentown, NJ, Joseph Fisher of South Carolina, & Edmund Fisher of Atco, NJ; and 3 grandchildren: Tyler, Nathaniel, & Miranda. Masonic services will be held at 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ; where friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Donations in James' memory may be made to the Masonic Home of Burlington County, 902 Jacksonville Rd, Burlington, NJ 08016.
