Warren A Halbruner Sr, age 77, of Erma passed away peacefully on Friday, March 26, 2010 at the North Cape Center. He was a life long resident of the Cape May area. Warren was the service manager of Halbruner & Hanson Ford in West Cape May for 22 years. He was also an employee for the Cape May County Road Department, retiring after 20 years service. Beachcombing was one of Warren's favorite pastimes. He is the son of the late Alvin and Edith Halbruner and was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Patricia (Holden) Halbruner in 2005; and his brother Wayne Halbruner in 2001. Warren is survived by 5 sons: Warren A Jr. of Erma; Ronald W (Christine) of Erma; George P (Lisa) of Voorhees, NJ; David S (Maria) of Belair, MD; and John K (Dawn) of Seaville, NJ. Also surviving are his 20 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. There will be a memorial service at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ; where friends will be received from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
