Ernest F. Rissling Jr., age 72 of Cape May Court House passed away on Monday, March 1, 2010 at his home.
He was formerly of Philadelphia and resided in Cape May Co. the past 32 years. He was a graduate of Williamson Trade School of Media PA in 1957. He was formerly employed for 10 years with the Philadelphia Electric Co.. Ernest was a member of the K of C, Stella Maris Council # 3546 and Msgr. Moroney Assembly 4th Degree K of C in Wildwood.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest Sr. and Margaret Rissling. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Constance (neeToth) ; three children, Michael Rissling of Wildwood, Kelly (the late Charles) Preletz of Collegeville, PA and Colleen Risling of Philadelphia; three sisters, Margie Pomeroy (Albert) Warrington, PA, Joan Rissling (Harry) of Moorestown, NJ and Cass Majewski of Philadelphia, PA; a brother Joseph Rissling of Philadelphia, PA. He also leaves 8 grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am on Friday, March 5, 2010 at St. Raymond's Church, Ocean Ave. and Bayshore Rd. Villas NJ, where friends may call from 10 AM. Burial will be 11am on Saturday at the Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA. Donations in his memory to, Heartland Hospice, 2 Braddock Drive Somers Point, NJ 08244.
