Geraldine R Addesso, age 78, of Town Bank passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the Oceana Rehab & Nursing Home. Born in Philadelphia, she has been an area resident since 1981. She graduated from Southern High School in Philadelphia, and lived in Woodlyn, Pa for many years. Geraldine was a member of St John of God RC Church, the Town Bank Home Owners Association, and the Golf Cart Transportation to the Bay Group. She was affectionately known as "The Ma". Geraldine is survived by: her son Robert (Carol) Addesso of Erma; her son William (Maureen) Addesso of Town Bank; and her daughter Carol (Mark) Paget of North Cape May. Also surviving are her six grandchildren: Nicole, Samantha, Amanda, Katie, Mark, and Dannyelle. She was preceded in death by her husband Philip R Addesso Jr. in 2000 and her sister Rae Rita Wolfe of Glenolden, PA. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 1, 2010; at St John of God RC Church, Townbank Rd, North Cape May; where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery.
