Anne Ester Carlson Obituary

Anne E Carlson, age 83, of North Cape May passed away peacefully on Monday, February 15,2010 at home surrounded by her loving family. Anne was born on November 22, 1926 to Julius and Nanni Tammi in Brooklyn, NY. She was a graduate of Leonia High School. Her first job was at the International Paper Co. in New York City. She retired from Prentice Hall where she was a manager, having gone back to work when her youngest daughter was in junior high school. Anne was preceded in death by brother Veikko and her husband Nils Victor Carlson. Anne and Vic were married 53 years, and lived in their home built by her husband and family in Edgewater, NJ. Mom will be sorely missed by her daughters: Barbara, Carol, Vicki, & Elinor; her sons-in-law: Jeff, Joel, & Ron; her grandchildren: Tammi, Jeff, Elizabeth, & Donna (husband Chris); great granddaughter Emily; favorite niece Linda; great nephew Eric; and the family dog Kirby (both her friend and protector). Anne was laid to rest at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ. Thank you to Holy Redeemer Hospice who helped us get through Anne's last few days. Evoy Funeral Home.
