Walter E Hill, age 86, of Green Creek passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 31, 2010. Formerly of South Philadelphia, he has been a Cape May area resident since 1980. Walter was a member of St Raymond's RC Church; the Villas Fishing Club; the American Legion of Villas; and a lifetime member of the DAV of Del Haven. He served his country in the US Navy during World War II. Walter is survived by his wife of 44 years Geraldine (nee Umberger) of Green Creek. There will be a graveside memorial service at a later date at the convenience of the family.
