Elizabeth D Stewart, age 89, of North Wildwood passed away peacefully on Friday, January 22, 2010 at her home. Born in Chester, PA and formerly of Eddystone, PA; she has been a Cape May area resident since 1995. Elizabeth was a secretary at the Ford Motor Company in Chester, PA and the Administrative Assistant to the Superintendant of the Interboro School District of Glen Olden, PA; retiring after 38 years of service in 1992. She was a member of St Rose's RC Church in Eddystone, PA and a member of St Ann's in Wildwood. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Robert Stewart in 2007. She is survived by her son Robert (Michele) Stewart of Philadelphia and her son Jeffrey (Mary) Stewart of North Cape May. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at St Ann's RC Church, 2901 Atlantic Ave, Wildwood, NJ. Friends will be received at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at Cold Spring Cemetery, Cold Spring, NJ. Contributions can be made in Elizabeth's memory to the Compassionate Care Hospice, 172 Route 50, Ocean View, NJ 08230.
