I remember the days we had in Maryland -- the fun we had & how much I enjoyed being with you & your brothers. I remember all the good times we had at Vodges St. I'll miss you but I know you are in a good place with a lot of wonderful people.

Memories of Chris...
Never a negative thing to say about anyone or anything (unless he was talking about a Philly sports team who had just lost). I've known Chris since I was just a little guy and have spent many years of my life sitting on the front porch talking sports, exchanging stories, telling jokes and having many laughs. He would always greet you with a huge, full-face smile. He loved the beach, Cape May, his friends/family, his dog Taffy, and his front porch.
Chris will be always be remembered as great man and great friend to all who knew him. When I think of the expression "He'd take the shirt off his back for you.", I believe they had Chris in mind. He will be deeply missed by our family and all of our friends on New York Ave. Whenever I sit on our front porch, I will always look across the street , picture him sitting there, and reflect upon how lucky I was to have known him.
Until we meet again my good friend...

I remember Chris as a man who always had a smile on his face, a man who always had a new joke, and most importantly, a man that I called uncle. I remember going to the mummers parade, and going to the shore. I also remember his favorite joke was, "Say hi to me knee".

Living across the street from Chris in Cape may for 25 years or more i have so many memories but one that stands out was watching Chris go to the beach all the time with all his friends and family complete with a wagon full of food and drinks. He loved Cape may and we loved him. He was a good person, friend and neighbor. In later years he would come over and watch sports on the TV with my Dad and i know they both enjoyed that. He always offered to shovel for them or would just come over and shovel before they arrived. He was always appreciated and we will miss him.

I worked with Chris at HomeStead during the years he was here. After posting another good testimonial on our website about Chris, I joked to him one day saying, "Chris I'm sick of putting all these positive testimonials on the website for you." His reply was, "Pat it's costing me a fortune. I paid each guest five bucks a piece to submit them!" That was Chris. Even if you tried to shield a compliment in a joke he could turn it so the joke was on him. Chris was the best. The guests loved him, the owners loved him, and especially the staff at HomeStead loved him. May I express my deepest sympathies and offer prayers to the family of Chris Moore.
