Anthony J Medoro, age 92, of Villas passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of Camden, he has been a Cape May area resident since 1980. Anthony served his country in the US Army during World War II. He was a union (Local 1050) cabinet maker for over 50 years. Anthony was a former member of the Queen of Peace RC Church of Philadelphia. He is survived by his wife Lois of 37 years of Villas; Daughter Deborah (Michael) Collarin of Gloucester; son Michael (Cherrie) Medoro of Williamstown; son Bertram (Diane) Newton of Pittsgrove; son Ronald Medoro of Hilltop; and daughter Regina (Michael) Sibilia of Nutley. He is also survived by his sister Esther DeCarlo of Pennsauken, 9 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Saturday January 9, 2010 at St Raymond's RC Church, Bayshore & Ocean Ave, Villas, NJ; where friends may call between 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at Cape May County Veterans Cemetery in Cape May Court House.
