Rosemary Sheehan, 63, of Villas passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 24, 2009 at home. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of Phoenixville, she has been a Cape May area resident since 1997. Rosemary was a member of St Raymond's RC Church and was employed as a secretary at the Crest Haven Nursing Home for 12 years. She was preceded in death by her parents (Joseph & Mary Sharkey) and three brothers: Joseph, Jerome, and Patrick Sharkey. Rosemary is survived by her husband of 30 years Frank Sheehan of Villas. She is also survived by 2 sons: Shawn Sheehan & Brian Sheehan both of Villas; one grandson: Kyle Sheehan; 3 stepsons: Frank Sheehan, Kevin Sheehan, & Kenneth Sheehan all of Philadelphia; and 4 stepdaughters: Joan Sheehan of Delaware County, PA, Robin Sheehan of Boothwyn, PA, Margaret Delfera of Boothwyn, PA, and Doreene Sheehan of Delaware County, PA. Also surviving are 2 sisters: Kathleen Martin of Montrose, PA & Rita Devlin of Philadelphia; and one brother: John Sharkey of Philadelphia. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at St Raymond's RC Church, Bayshore & Ocean Ave, Villas, NJ. Friends will be received at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
