Obituary of Carol A. Delagol

OBITUARY Carolyn Ann (nee Davis) Taylor Delagol, 74, of Villas, NJ passed away on January 4, 2013 in her home. Carol was born in Lancaster, PA to Clare (Elbert) and Robert Davis. As a child she moved to Germantown (Philadelphia) and was a proud graduate of Little Flower High School for Girls. Her first career was as a professional ballerina. She danced at the Academy of Music and performed with the Royal Ballet. She also worked as an administrator for Avery Dennison for many years. Over 10 years ago, she moved to New Jersey to be closer to the ocean. Throughout her life, Carol enjoyed dancing, "crafting", finding a great buy at yard sales, winning at the casinos, and going to the beach. While in Villas, she also worked for the Presbyterian and Methodist Churches of Cape May. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and husband Victor Delagol. She is survived by her loving companion Bill Fogg; her children: Joseph E Taylor III (Esther), Donna Marie Taylor (Robb), & Sandra Lynne Taylor; her sister Roberta M Baver (Robert); her brother R Edward Davis (Liz); her grandsons: Daniel Joseph Taylor & Joseph E Taylor IV; and her five nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing at 10:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 11, 2013 at St Raymond's RC Church of Saint John Neumann Parish, located at 25 E Hudson Ave (and Bayshore Rd) Villas, NJ 08251. Luncheon will follow immediately after Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Little Flower High School for Girls, 1000 W Lycoming St, Philadelphia, PA 19140 or the St John Neumann Parish via St Raymond's Church.
