Susanna Sapowycz, 79, of Wildwood Crest went home to the Lord peacefully in her sleep on December 22, 2009. She was a lover of God and nature, and a friend to all in need. While on her daily walks, Susanna was known for her ever present smile by locals and visitors alike. She immigrated from Poland during World War II and became a proud US citizen. Susanna was a loving family matriarch holding her family together through thick and thin. She will be forever missed; but lovingly remembered for her light and love.
Susanna was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Roman. She is survived by:her sons Zenon (Donna Dietz) and Roman both of Wildwood Crest; her daughters Irene Gamble of Wildwood Crest; Lydia (Jim) McClintock of Rio Grande; and Tina Carter of Wildwood Crest. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren: Ronnie Gamble & fiancée Rebekah Griffin; Sarah Sapowycz; and Ann Marie McClintock. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
