Eugene Godman Obituary

Eugene Godman, 58, of North Cape May passed away suddenly on Monday, December 14, 2009. Gene will forever be remembered by family and friends as a very happy and generous man. Born in Philadelphia, he lived most of his life in North Cape May. He was a member of the Moose Lodge 585 of Wildwood. Gene was a chef by trade, however he worked many years in the Grandview gift shop on the Wildwood Boardwalk. He later worked at the Produce Junction of North Cape May. Gene is survived by his brother Edward Godman of North Cape May; his sister Diane Minchin of Turnersville; his brother Robert Godman of Wildwood; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward & Dorothy Godman; his brother Bill; and sisters Dot & Lee. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May; where friends may call from 1:30 to 3:00 PM . Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made in Gene's memory to the American Cancer Society, 626 North Shore Rd, Absecon, NJ 08201.
