During a trip up here in Maine grandmom and Sr. Agnes witnessed blue fish running. We took them to a seafood restaurant and they watched the fisherman hit the bluefish on the head with a mallet!! They were shocked but we explained they would bite if not! So we asked for the curtains to be closed. After we walked on the beach and a fisherman who talked to us gave us 2 hugh bluefish, and we came home and took turns taking pictures of grandmom and Sr. Agnes holding the fish up over newspaper. The look on their faces were precious and never to be forgotton!!!

Since I just found out Sr. Agnes Edward also passed my greatest memory is with both grandmom and Sr. Agnes. They came to stay with Joel and our girls we took them to New Hampshire to see moose. We saw a calf moose on the side of the road and pulled over when we slid the door of the van open the moose stuck his head in! Sr. Agnes and grandmom kept saying Oh My!!! Oh My!!! They kept saying he won't hurt us right? We were laughing so hard til we heard momma in the woods! The next night sitting on the deck at sunset I almost fell off my chair when grandmom and Sr. Agnes asked if they could share a beer with Joel!!! I never seen either drink!! We laughed for hours!!! One for the record!!

Grandmom so many fond memories. The turquoise handled silverware, you standing on the wood step to do dishes, your faith no matter what. I will forever cherish the memories of our visits. I have some comfort in the fact that the day will come when the only grandparents I had known and my father will be there to meet me. Love and miss you your granddaughter

My memories are seeing a sweet and friendly lady whenever i visited the house, always jolly and giggly and made you feel very welcome, also i remember her always making us laugh by standing on her head or doing a jiggy dance, her and my mom were like two little girls whenever they got together, now they hopefully will meet in heaven and continue to make everyone feel happy, you will be missed by your family and friends...Merle

So many good memories. Scary movies in black and white, the house in Camden, moving to "the shore", standing on your head, doing the twist with Grandmom Skain, hoola hoop, jump rope, talking to the birds and on and on. Goodbye grandmom, say hi to everyone for me.
Love Deb
